The way the standard for thematic statements, characters and stories are being raised for superhero cinema rn is how the standard for costumes needs to be raised as well

…cause I’m sick of this s***. Under Armour Heatgear shirts exist, polyester exists. These niggas bulk up for these roles so they’re gonna look great in tight clothes. There’s material now to bring the skin tight muscle bound look of comic book heroes to life without it looking stupid or being uncomfortable

But honestly enough of the padding and/or baggy ashy leather. Both costumes. Suit design and colors is awesome tho

Why would you need a lot of time to set them up? They’re just supporting cast helping Superman and their powers are the only real background needed. Like they aren’t gonna waste time explaining Hawkgirl mythology. Mr. Terrific isn’t even powered

Casuals know what Green Lanterns are too and Guy is already set for a future appearance in a show where we can learn more about him

Where I’m kinda dicey is it comes across like Black Adam having JSA characters like Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Atom, etc..

Mr Terrific, Hawkgirl and Green Lantern are also JSA characters (Guy Gardner is basically a stand in for Alan Scott). I’m sure it’ll be much better but it’s an interesting choice to make for this film when other Superman supporting characters exist out there
