    BRAVE

    F*** it

    Guess that superhero teamup movie
    • Based on a flagship comic book superhero team comprised of six heroes
    • The trinity of the team includes: an armored billionaire playboy tech CEO, an ancient god, and a Boy Scout who is brought back from being buried in order to lead the team and serve as a needed symbol of hope in the uncertain present times
    • We open to a base where a magical cube is being housed. This magical cube is an ancient relic with the power to terraform
    • The story kicks off when the main bad guy - an ancient, monological horned god who carries a staffed weapon - arrives through a portal into the base to steal the magical cube. In the process, he slaughters defenders of the cube. At the end of the sequence he retrieves the cube and escapes, to which the leading defender of the cube must send a warning out
    • One of the team members is a dreamy, bearded, long haired man who wields the power to control an element. He carries a powerful magic weapon and is the to-be king of an ancient land. We see his first heroic appearance in the team’s early encounter with the main bad guy
    • The horned bad guy is working for another bad guy in the shadows while being condescended by the shadow bad guy’s hooded and porcelain skinned right hand from time to time. This hooded right hand bad guy also warns the horned bad guy of the consequences of his failure to fulfill the mission
    • The horned bad guy has direct history and animosity with the ancient god team member
    • One of the team members is a recluse and victim of a freak accident that should have killed him, yet his power saved his life. He has proximity to the energy within the magical cube. Although his immense power feels like a curse and makes him a monster, he will see it has been a blessing all along. He also hits it off with the quippy, red and gold armor-clad team member
    • The team operates in a large high tech, highly weaponized secret base. They travel in an advanced aircraft
    • The team has strong disagreements about the ethicality of using the magical space cube, specifically as it pertains to the black leather clad mysterious assembler of the team’s motivation for using it
    • The question of “will the most physically powerful member be awakened?” is posed throughout the story so far. This is answered at the midpoint when he finally awakens; angry, shirtless and muscle bound. He immediately fights the team, and has a one on one hand to hand bout with the ancient god member. Then he leaves
    • The regular human character sacrifices himself at the midpoint
    • The horned bad guy escapes with the magical cube. He goes to a tower in a city to house the cube to start a terraforming process
    • The five members go to the streets of the city to battle the horned bad guy and his incoming swarm of faceless alien drones
    • The team guards the magic space cube from the bad guys while attempting to close its portal
    • The most powerful member returns to join the team as their trump card during the final battle with a badass one liner before delivering a mighty blow. He lays a memorable and crowd pleasing beat down on the horned bad guy
    • During the final battle, a team member is suddenly shot to the ground in their left rib by a faceless alien drone. Another team member knocks the drone out of frame before offering help to the member who was shot
    • At the 11th hour of the final battle, the red and gold armor-clad hero (who has just been shot by one of the faceless alien drones) rushes to stop an earth-shattering explosion, risking his own life. He delivers a touching message to his loved one on the way to saving the day
    • The team stands together in the daylight as the camera pans to each member, then finally to the entire team. They are now assembled
    • The billionaire member, standing next to his loved one, establishes a new base for the team using his own huge home
    • After the final battle, the hooded bad guy reports to the tyrannical shadow bad guy. The tyrannical shadow bad guy prepares to wage war against Earth and the team of heroes as a tease for a teamup in the future

    Yes

I loved it. It was the perfect trailer. It didn't give away too much like most trailers do nowadays. (We'll see about the next couple trailers they release of course. Lowkey might skip them lmao cause this was all that I needed.) I understand that we see a lot and can assume stuff but that doesn't necessarily mean that will happen in the movie. I want to guess but not actually know from the trailers.

The lack of dialogue and the strong score actually makes you feel something, which is my favorite part about movies. It gives you goosebumps and hearing that Superman chant slowly get louder and louder in the background is exactly the movie magic I go to the theater for.

The grain on it looks beautiful, the lighting is well done and the colors stand out. This doesn't feel like some thrown together rushed MCU movie that doesn't know how lighting works or a lack of time for VFX teams to make something look real. I think it gives you tons of reasons to be excited.
