James Gunn has a formula and style just like Zack Snyder does. It's not for everyone of course

I will give DC/WB credit for getting directors that have bold and unique styles. Dark, epic, and serious with Snyder and Goofy, silly, with heart with Gunn.

I'd take a James Gunn or Zack Snyder anyday compared to a bland, flavorless director for hire like alot of MCU. And by that I mean the Russo Brothers lol.
