It was fresh afI think he fundamentally didn’t understand any of the characters at all. He just showed a disdain for comics which doesn’t work if you’re the leader of the show imo

Pretty much all of geoff Johns Green Lantern in floppys
Ultimate Spider-man number 1 that I bought at a payless shoes store when it came out.

he just loves too many little ideas of different iterations of different heroes. Like if he zeroed in on one iteration of a character like The Dark Knight Returns Batman and did a movie on that comic or a similar story line he would be fine. He just isn't a good writer. He's visually unmatched imo but can't create a good story to save his life.
I would welcome a Zack Snyder directed movie in the DCU if written by someone else
