The f*** up was keeping Snyder the moment MoS wasn't the hit they wanted critically or commercially he should've been dropped.

I think the first Man of Steel is very overrated but it’s clear he has a passion for this character and millions of fans across the globe wanted to see him return to the role
What can you do? The entire DC cinematic universe is a miss and the only way to fix it is wiping the slate clean. Unfortunately he's collateral. It would be too confusing to have multiple characters and stories going on. Hopefully we look back and see this as a great decision some day
