After seeing it, I know understand why he hates it lmao
Negative review but it's like a very weird, over the top, mean-spirited review. The final 3 minutes especially just seem like a personal rant towards James Gunn. He even gets mad at him for daring to show a woman with... cleavage?
I wouldn’t say I don’t fw him but I dont take his opinions seriously
seems like that review is proof
Karsten Runquist getting packed up
He's a goofball. I saw that s***, like wtf is he talking about lmao
That review felt personal, out of touch, and weirdly mean-spirited for no reason. Son turned into a film bro Critical Drinker

Strangely enough, I saw a negative review where the dude was mad at James Gunn for making Lois put on clothing that covered her all over. YouTube reviewers are so wild lol
Even if international for this movie is bad, you gotta realize how much of a disaster DC has been over the last decade
This is pretty similar to Batman Begins doing like $370M worldwide because Batman & Robin was so bad. You gotta start again at the base level for international box office to come back.
Nicholas Hoult’s Lex is in those villain conversations. Idc how soon it’s been

Yeah but I think certain markets have a problem with this movie specifically that isn't tied to past DC ineptitude. Like in China, the movie opened with a 6.9 on Douban, in comparison, other recent CBM openings:
GOTG 3 - 8.6
The Flash - 8.0 (no that isn't a typo)
The Batman - 7.7
DP&W - 7.3
Aquaman 2 - 7.0
It isn't just that people in these places aren't seeing it, the ones that are seeing it are, for whatever reason, not enjoying it.

This a classic, idc.
Had me smiling from start to finish, THIS is who Superman is.
Can anyone tell me if this is worth seeing in Dolby? Or is imax cinema the preferred experience?
Just seen it in IMAX 3D, a bit spotty/jumpy in parts but it hit all the same
a good superman movie isn't enough i need to see zack snyder decapitated for the damage he did to the DC brand for 10 years

How was it in 3D
I like it, but I wanted to love it. This movie is incredibly chaotic. There is so much going on: a lot of characters, DC lore, the zany comic book sci-if concepts, and the structure feels a little too uneven. The Gunn humor just doesn’t work at times. But holy f*** there are some individual elements that are absolutely incredible.
This is the tone I wanted. Gunn understands the character of Superman much better than Zack Snyder. David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult are all fantastic. There’s so much to like, but I wanted to LOVE it. I’m giving it a rewatch this afternoon.

So many possibilities with him too
power suit lex
legion of doom
president lex
apex lex
How was it in 3D
Some of the action looked a bit of a mess in parts but didn’t take much from the overall experience for me, gonna see it normally next week to see how it looks
Hoping they figure this out, cause actually I didn’t think about this at all
