Wow they delivered. This movie was amazing, while not without its flaws they still produced a great film here, it really felt like episodes of the DCAU compiled together at times.

I think the pacing works pretty well, but can also be jarring at times. But I guess it did make the movie feel like a breeze getting through

Visually the movie is fantastic, that superman suit is so eye catching and colors pop off just the right way. I was a lil worried about the action scenes from the trailers, but yeah everything in here visually was done great.

The story had a lot of heart and really capture the essence of Superman. There were a lot of moments where I got goosebumps like the scene where the jarhanpurian were all chanting superman. Also the acting and dynamic amongst the main cast was just perfect

Overall a great start to the DCU

Soundtrack was also really good, this one in particular did it for me. The mixing of elements from the classic theme with the mos >>>>

Actually really enjoyed it. It’s refreshing to see a superman who behaves like a normal human being rather than a god who knows he’s a god and struggles to accept it.

Also, for the love of f***ing god can we stop putting villains up against superhero’s who are exactly the same or have the same skill set.

Batman be feeling kinda soulless too. I tried to rewatch it and cut that s*** right off 5 minutes in

s*** is a slog. I remember us talking about it in the thread for that movie. ironically enough Superman has made me want to rewatch it but I know I won't cause the idea is more fun than actually doing it
