blackefrondidn’t expect to like this more than fantastic four
Watched the first hour of F4 on a camrip, liked it a lot honestly
The big Surfer sequence convinced me to actually get in front of the big screen to finish the movie, hopefully that second hour lives up to it

Lol... it doesn't get better but still worth seeing in theatres awesome visuals
But yeah first half was awesome
Second half is classic mcu bullshit
But still one of the better mcu movies

Didn't really think to much about domestic vs international
Really only thought about global and it looking like neck n neck wit MOS at this point
Honestly think man of steel sequel would have made more money even if it ended up being some ass

Captain America 4 didn't see it but it looked f***ing terrible and committee made.
Don't really like Gunn writing or direction but I can respect when a movie is made by 1 guy

I liked the characters in this movie
More then I liked the actual movie
6.5/10 all across the board for Visuals, writing, and soundtrack
Another formulaic mcu rollercoaster flick
Didn't do anything new for the genre but I
Didn't hate it
Lex was whatever Rosenbaum still goated
I liked all the Guy gardener parts
Fortress of solitude looked awesome
The robots were cool
spoilersssssssssssssss
|| i wish krypto was Clark's dog n not Kara's.
Supergirl tease was pretty dope
Hated jor El plot twist
Loved the ending scene with the iggy pop song tho || end of spoilersssssssssssssss
Fine setup for a dc reboot
Think a new superman theme would have been better then reusing Williams theme.
Also funny that John Williams is still alive but they just reusing his theme instead of hiring him to do the soundtrack (I know he's old af.. probably retired)
I'm down with corensweat superman, he has potential and would be cool to see him meet cavill in the multiverse one day.
Hope Gunn takes backseat and doesn't script the eventual justice league movie.
Now that I've seen it and lived with it for some weeks I'm at peace with it.
Snyder was going for something with a lot more depth
This was going for Saturday morning cartoon fun
Both did what they were meant to do.
Happy superman is still in the zeitgeist after almost 100 years
Here's to 100 more

Disagree this lacks the depth of the Snyder films though. Glad to see you didn’t hate Krypto bro. Krypto will be needed in the supergirl movie…if they do it like the comic. I’m also used to Krypto being Superman’s dog.

Yeah “kindness is the new punk rock” is cringe when we live in an era where the norm is be extremely cynical and afraid to show compassion and care for one another.
The whole idea of punk rock is to go against the societal norms and express your own authenticity.
But yeah punk rock isn’t kindness when pure kindness is the anomaly in the day to day, sure.
