I think Gunn at least for this first movie is going to go more Gene Hackman Lex than a Lex who could fight Supes

Like this Lex would likely bankroll someone like Metallo or work with Bruno Mannheim to take on Superman before taking it on himself to go up against him with a suit in the sequel

On the Bruno Mannheim point tho I don’t think Gunn would do Intergang so soon after Black Adam just did it
