I don’t really see the hype in Hoult for any of these superhero roles tbh, I would have hated if Batman went to him over Patz and it’s the same case here. Him as Luthor is interesting though. I’m personally for the idea that whoever you cast as Lex can also be someone you cast as Superman. I love when they mirror each other completely. If you watched Skins, you can basically imagine that being Lex’s childhood. So Hoult might be good for that.
