This is just films that released in 2024, if I did every film that would be 120+

Moral of the story is I need to watch more films. Want to hit 200 total next year

I’m curious, why do you watch films that seem like they might be bad, like Kraven the Hunter?

Sometimes it’s “let me get f***ed up and have some fun at the theater” that would be Kraven, Winnie the Pooh, and Madame Web

Others, like Argylle, are because I like some of the directors previous work and ultimately I’m disappointed

Also having AMC A List makes it easier for me to stomach lmao

Ok I getchu, some bad movies can for sure be a vibe if you’re f***ed up lol. What’s nice is I have a security gig where I’m supposed to be making sure people ain’t pirating and I just get to watch unreleased movies

I’m not MJ but bad movies can be fun and from a writer standpoint you can learn a lot from watching bad movies

Didn’t see a ton this year but

    1) Smile 2
    2) Alien Romulus
    3) Monkey Man
    4) Long Legs
    5) Nosferatu
    6) Maxxxine
    7) The Bikeriders
    8) Late Night with the Devil
    9) In A Violent Nature
    10) Furiosa
    11) Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
    12) Twisters
    13) Cuckoo
    14) Abigail
    15) Carry-On
    16) Roadhouse
    17) Heretic

I really hate how Letterboxd goes by initial festival release year, so s*** like The Bikeriders and Late Night w the Devil don’t even show up for 2024
