anyway it’s the same 5 people from that thread, and some of them were same dude on alts. idk if you’ve ever been muted but 99% of active users don’t get muted. and most mutes go to the same set of users. like the guy who posted about sexually assaulting women and should have been banned already.

i always give mute reasons when asked in this sxn. i take time out to research it and then come back with a response.

the plan is when you’re muted it will show the posts you were muted for and the reason. and to show lock reasons too. but i’m behind schedule and have other things to get out first.

we’re also working on building up the mod team and laying out a consistent set of guidelines for how to deal with situations. the moderation here is too lax if anything, and i get messages and reports about that all the time.

if you’re upset about a mute or something and feel like you aren’t being treated fairly then i feel for you. but if you think some of the s*** i quoted isn’t grounds for mutes or bans then you’re not gonna be happy whatever we do.

and finally i posted in the life sxn thread (which was already locked) because someone told me people were actually suggesting china is paying us so i went to clear it up.

it wasnt an attack on you, it was barely even a mention. if anything it was out of courtesy since you mentioned censorship. i wasn’t even talking to you directly.

so i don’t see the point in making a whole ass thread in life sxn directly calling me out when i’m sure you know how that’s going to turn out. it just seems like you wanted some drama... so i’m not gonna respond seriously to that.

ultimately, community moderation is hard and you won’t find a large community without complaints about moderation. or if you do it’s because complaints about moderation are deleted lol.

and it isn’t any easier when you have trolls who aren’t even funny or entertaining just taking up valuable time.

anyway hope that clears some things up for you. don’t take the name change personally. it’s just funny that people think any of this works like that.

we don’t censor stuff we don’t like. you have a single perspective and maybe frustrated about a mute or something. but half of those dudes are trolls. don’t go down that path.

like i said moderation is lax as f***. and when it comes to stuff like music sxn, i’ve straight up removed moderators for artist bias after looking into their mod activity

the vast majority of threads don’t get locked. less then 0.001% of posts get deleted. less than 1% of users have been muted, and half of them are alts. the site is a lot bigger than the few people talking about censorship in that thread

also stop saying censorship because it’s emotionally charged and loaded af.
