Just finished it up. I can understand where dude was coming from, saying he felt guilty for everything that happened. Never been through anything remotely close to that situation so kinda hard for me to see why exactly he feels like a victim though. Then again, them getting caught was her fault, I guess she never really told him that though did she? So he’s been feeling that pain of thinking he ruined her life.

Claire definitely didn’t take any accountability in the end. Because he was right, when she initially told him that it was wrong and it can’t happen again, he stopped and left her alone. She’s the one who pursued him. Power dynamic, and age difference, she took advantage of it. Majority of 17 year olds are gonna go along with it, not really taking into account all the possible outcomes and consequences. They don’t know any better at that age.

Overall this was a decent series. Started off really really strong. Ending was kind of light, but I’d recommend giving it a watch to anyone.

I pretty much left this s*** thinking everyone was stupid. I know that ultimately I’m suppose to sympathize with everyone involved but the ending sort of ruined that for me. I feel like dudes struggles were more so the result of him falling in love for the first time and ultimately getting his heart broken rather than hopping into an affair with his teacher or being “groomed” honestly, the most natural course the story could have taken was them ultimately getting back together years later but I understand they were trying to make a point here. I’m just not sure it was made in my opinion.
