Eventually the s*** you like gonna sound dusty to the kids too man, it's just a style and aesthetic that had a broader appeal at one point and is more niche now. Doesn't make it any less artistically viable.

I liked Exhibit C a lot back in the day but yeah he really is a classic example of a rapper that needed to follow up and capitalize fairly quickly. This album would have sounded nasty in like 2014 but it sounds a little dated today because his style hasn't changed much.
Anyone remember Saigon? I loved Greatest Story Never Told when it dropped but he always sounded a little out of time because he had so much trouble dropping material.

nah because back when I was coming up kids showed love to older artists, and did the history... kids nowadays have been doing s*** for likes, and to troll online for a long that there isnt a clear line between the jokes and if they are actually serious
