what made virgil such a force was his interdisciplinary background and refusal to wear one hat. undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, masters in architecture, all while DJing and printing shirts on his free time and taking it to the highest levels. i feel fortunate that i was able to follow virgil from 2012 until now because he reminds me i’m not XYZ i’m a culmination of my interests and we should pursue ours NOW

RIP Virgil his impact was paramount within the hip hop landscape over the last ten years

No wonder What Happened to Virgil was getting airplay every 10-15 minutes this whole weekend.
