I liked the movie but I found it more "sanitized" than I was expecting, in the sense that it always seems the movie wants to do more with certain aspects of BDSM like the petplay, bratty sub, dégradation, but they keep it a certain distance
which I guess plays into Kidman's character's kink at heart being risk and danger, and it also helps to keep the female sexuality and desire at the heart of the movie
When's the male version of this movie with a powerful CEO being into femdom? I've always thought Phantom Thread and The Master wanted to be that type of movie
