And I hate it cause most people don’t know how insane that script was to pull off, they compare any indie adjacent film with loud talking and tension to it but it’s in a league of its own tbh.

And somehow people have the nerve to say that it isn’t one of the greatest movies of all time smh. It’s gonna be a long time before we see anything even close to that movie.

A lot of people don’t realize how dense the plot is and how many different layers there is to the story

“It’s a shame that critics like me have made “Uncut Gems” into such a hacky reference point for heart-in-your-throat cinema, because “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” all but demands the comparison, and not only because it was produced by Safdie brothers collaborator Ronald Bronstein”

Lmao I knew the uncut gems comparisons was inevitable. But I can’t wait to see this Sunday

  • Just got out the theater!

I loved this. Since it’s being compared to Night b**** (which I get) I’ll say this is a MILLION times better. Rocky essentially plays himself but he did good, he’s the 2nd lead in this after Rose.

The opening credits directly copies uncut gems but besides that I wouldn’t compare it to Uncut BUT this movie definitely feels related to her husband’s filmography which makes sense.

  • Sundance fav so far:
    1. Twinless
    2. If I had legs
    3. Omaha
    4. Sorry baby
    5. Hal & Harper

  • I wanna watch this again. Was hyped on this just like “a different man” last year and this is an early contender for top 10 of the year
