The film would be based off of Warren Zanes’ book “Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska”. Cooper would be writing the screenplay, adapting Zanes’ tackling of Springsteen’s turbulent psyche during this time in his life.
