Like my interest for red rocket was 99% because of Simon Rex getting casted in serious role w a critically acclaimed director.

If he wasn’t casted and Baker went w a rando I might not have even watched this one tbh.

(also just to make clear I’m not some huge Simon Rex fan. only know him for dirt nasty cocaine song and scary movie so thought it was interesting that he was getting lead role in some artsy film + casting kinda reminded me of Sandler uncut gems which was fire so i thought this could be interesting as well)
