Set In 1858, Qualley will play a young, eccentric governess, with hidden “psychotic tendencies,” named Winifred Notty who arrives at a remote gothic mansion. As Winifred assimilates into life at the home, staff members begin to inexplicably disappear, and the owners of the estate begin to wonder if there is something amiss about their new governess.

Don’t know what to expect! Out of left field.

The last one had serious PTA influence, so curious if the writer develops their voice more. Sanctuary is really just one of those scripts I wish I would have written.

Just that it’s an unconventional love story, where the characters are f***ed up but complete each other, might be a reach I dunno lol. Also, the lil swirling color transition that feels like Punch Drunk Love.
