Watched this with a group tn and it honestly blew my expectations away. Perfect mix of classic, fun horror mixed with a real emotionally heavy backdrop. Liked it a lot more than Talk To Me imo. Probably some of the most insane body horror I'll ever see in a movie.

Why I’d actually think Sally Hawkins was a mute irl cause of the shape of water

Very gore that made me turn away at times but I liked it overall. 7.5/10

Gore usually doesn't startle me but watching the kid do all that was making me turn my head away

ngl I have very mixed feelings about this movie as a whole but the good parts had my jaw on the floor
Laura bopping Pipes in the face had me saying "nigga what the F***?" so loud

I thought this was a step up from Talk To Me, which veered to being almost comical at times. The dread on Bring Her Back was so heavy. I can't wait to see what these guys do next.
