they’re not even a part of the AMPTP and they still agreed to all of SAG-AFTRA’s demands - that's all that really matters. 39 films have been approved so far, not just from A24.
if indie productions are able to move forward on the union’s terms, it undermines the studio talking point that the union’s demands are “unrealistic.”
plus it provides more work for below-the-line workers so they can keep getting paid.
