I mean the whole movie wasn't about those themes. the hot dog racacoonie level were more side stories that detracted from main purpose of film to some degree. Feeling like they wanted the whole movie to not feel sad but again rock part my favorite part then felt in many regards besides final moments it had some downhill filler like moments but I get why they made it like that
