Jeanne Dielman is amazing but it's also the slowest 4 hour french film there is. I would say the pendulum swung too hard when a film that is going to instantly turn off 99 percent of filmgoers get proclaimed the best of all time. It's gatekeeping in a way and cinema is supposed to be for everyone so all those people that decided to vote for one for the most challenging films ever f***ed up imo.
