This SNL look is exactly the reason I was raging at Rocky earlier
How the f*** is a 37 year old getting this look in this podcast skit as if heās a new fresh modern rapper
I swear to you if you ask Sabrina carpenters or any of the other cacs in that skit they probably think Rocky is 25 and came up in Yachty era
They would never think this dude has been around as long as Drake but just didnāt put in the work to be as known, so now he has a chance to be a new artist still
Rocky has a great list of eclectic collaborators, looking back at his list of producers on past albums for the first time in a while and its crazy the names on there

he's really great at mixing producers and collaborators you wouldn't expect to work well together

Rocky is very much a show don't tell, ambience setting type of rapper and artist, he mainly goes for little bars that piece together a vibe more than really setting it out super clearly as a "concept", so really expressive intentional "concept" rappers like Doechii or Tyler can sometimes feel a bit out of place, Frank's rap verse on Purity on the last album was perfect for it (Frank is just the best writer at this type of vibe anyway)
I'll let them grow on me, but it does take me out of the moment hearing a super literal verse (and frankly song overall) in Robbery
Does anybody have the HQ pic of the cover with the actual rocky pics instead of the tim burton drawings? I saw it on a billboard
just noticed that the title track isn't produced by clams
after knowing that, it makes more sense though. not unique enough, almost sounds like someone else tryna sound like him
also heard some rumors about deluxe
hope it actually happens since there are so many songs that were cut due to multiple delays and changes to the album

That's what clams beat have been sounding like lately though

ROBBERY will be played at so many cafes and restaurants lol
It wouldāve if it wasnāt for the corny mwah verse

yea i agree itās his worst intro so far
maybe couldāve used highjack as a intro tbh
order of protection is just so bland even tho i like everything about it a lil bit itās just not enough
