Rocky has a great list of eclectic collaborators, looking back at his list of producers on past albums for the first time in a while and its crazy the names on there

this one from Dean Blunt and Rocky from a few years ago never got enough love

he's really great at mixing producers and collaborators you wouldn't expect to work well together

this would be better if it wasnt asap rocky

Rocky is very much a show don't tell, ambience setting type of rapper and artist, he mainly goes for little bars that piece together a vibe more than really setting it out super clearly as a "concept", so really expressive intentional "concept" rappers like Doechii or Tyler can sometimes feel a bit out of place, Frank's rap verse on Purity on the last album was perfect for it (Frank is just the best writer at this type of vibe anyway)

I'll let them grow on me, but it does take me out of the moment hearing a super literal verse (and frankly song overall) in Robbery

just noticed that the title track isn't produced by clams after knowing that, it makes more sense though. not unique enough, almost sounds like someone else tryna sound like him

also heard some rumors about deluxe
hope it actually happens since there are so many songs that were cut due to multiple delays and changes to the album
