his best album
his tour after this with Tyler/Vince Staples/Danny Brown/ASAP Mob still the best show I've ever been to in my life
Show was nuts had a great time
The all black alternate cover with yams birthmark on rocky’s face was a missed opportunity, I don’t think they ever even printed it
It was fanmade by a KTT user
he aint never gonna spit like this again
This one of his most underrated tracks
the feeling of jukebox joints to this day is one of the most cathartic musical experiences oat
the sweet dark and melancholic 70s psychedelic soul and rock imo is the perfect example of what rocky and yams were going for in this era
took a while for me to come to terms with this but its his best album
every song is truly a masterpiece of swirly and ear-filling samples, lush and varied production, and amazing background vocals from Joe Fox that create a varied and adventurous experience while still being aesthetically coherent
It’s crazy how different songs like LPFJ2 vs Jukebox Joints sound but they come together to create a soundscape that reminds me of Suddenly as an album. It’s like you’re sitting next to Yams in purgatory awaiting judgement as an entire lifetime passes by in front of your eyes.
The topics rocky talks about are amazing and well thought out when he arrives at them. Things like Max B and Holy Ghost show that his writing is far more than superficially attractive

never thought about how specifically 70s psych the whole album is in influence/approach, that’s a really cool observation
someone posted this on ktt1 and i remembered it ever since because bones just sits there like a school shooter
This is great. I’ve never seen this.
I know hes on that "I dont make the same album twice cause I'm a creative visionary kanye protoge mozart picasso" but this sound only hit the surface, he should've kept going on this lane
the complaint of there being too many songs only really applies to a few tracks and even they are good imo
Dreams is only an interlude, Wavybone has a UGK feature, and Pharcyde/Westside Highway are great transition [ieces into the moodier second half

i think this was the final step in him transforming the sound he'd been developing for four years
it only made sense for him to move on
i do wish testing had better execution
