This is debunked.
Recently was on a trip outside and heated somebody blasting it from the speaker system of their Toyota Camry at max volume — Sticky, specifically.
Also, Jimmy Cooks was one of the biggest hip-hop releases last year.
Nice try, but consider that misinformation corrected. Thanks.
late last year he went on a tirade of talking about how no one was listening to his album a great example of a time where being mysterious and quietly owning that you made a great album that wasnt as successful as your last would have been less embarrassing

Wow!

What’s the point of all this mysterious mambajamba? Are we still in 2015? If you allegedly have all this amazing music that would inspire and make lots of people happy sitting in the vault, why keep that to yourself? Why accept headliner spots to one of the biggest festivals in the world and still try to act mysterious before, during, and after it?
How are you one of the best artists of all time, or even in the convo, if you are too insecure to even drop music more than once every 8 years?
Just give the people the music, give fans engagement, etc. When you act mysterious, your delusional fans create these insanely unrealistic expectations for your next drop because they’re so starved of info, and 99.9% of they time will be disappointed, then the artist is SHOCKED when their new album tanks! “I go months without a phone”
I, for one, am very tired of this mysterious gimmick, and will continue to only listen to artists that get ACTUAL play outside, so I can interact with friends, family, and peers alike in music discussion that won’t leave them confused and terrified. What’s wrong with that? Can you imagine discussing “Auntie Diaries” at a kickback? Now imagine discussing how much of a paradigm shift Honestly, Nevermind was
Agreed
Being overly mysterious helped 10 years ago but now its almost a determent to an artist career
Wtf did Usher do
Not release anything in the last 20 years, no interviews, music, photos and videos on his Instagram.
King of the mysterious act. It pisses me off because I'm a fan.
This thread has strong “shut up and dribble” vibes
You’re not entitled to somebody’s music and they’re allowed to release however they want to.

Shut up man, please
It blows my mind that people will argue that music is only something that should be played at parties and clubs but then do something as nerdy as post on KTT
