If you look in the thread, it’s predominantly the MJ fans who force it. I think they just dislike the fact that The Weeknd gets the MJ tags when he doesn’t perform like MJ used to. I can only assume it makes them more heated now he’s even bigger, and let’s be honest, basically runs pop now. Mars on the other hand does perform, and does seem to have the charismatic charm.

Plus, it’s always nice to root for a bit of underdog, isn’t it? Damn Abel and his stronghold on the industry with Republic bowing to his every want!!
