That's what I use. I even record my instruments through the sampler and create the tracks all in Maschine.
yea the software is stupid easy to use too i wish it was more like a full fledge daw but it really has all the basics so
You can pretty much do anything in any DAW, just all about what you find comfortable. I like the MPC style pads on the Maschine and the scroll wheel thingy is super convenient too

True. I can usually do anything in their with a little bit of tweaking but sometimes you just gotta throw it in Audacity to touch it up

i never learned piano and s*** and maschines scale and chord modes are very dull imo
ableton scales and chords have way more variation and work way better with a keyboard rather than 16 pads
