idk about this one lol. Ava Duvernay had an extremely popular Netflix doc called "13th" in 2016 which was an eye opener about the amendment for a lot of people

its been argued for decades tho but that doc is the one that made it a heightened topic for a lot of folks now. Might be one of the first mainstream artists i guess.
