godlike list, so many classics. you can play quake 3 nowadays in your browser, i pop in for a couple of matches every few days.

also spot on for serious sam 2 for being overhated. yeah its wacky, but at least it had its own identity, which was like ratchet and clank on acid. they went the opposite way and overcorrected afterwards with 3, which was so dour and glib. almost had first encounter as my nostalgia game

serious sam is underrated lowk, also good eye on catching that at all because i couldnt think of any other game to put there wondering if anyone will get that it got super s*** on when it came out 20 years ago. i was thinking fallout 4 belongs there too but i guess everyone is fine with it now

Real for dkc 1 and not 2

cus most ppl hail 1 then sneak diss 2 in the same breath for its bugs/unfinished release but none of that negatively impacted my experience and the latter still outdoes its predecessor on virtually every level; granted i played 1 with some idea of the twist but thats wat comes w hinging impact on reveals.

kreia is probly my favorite of all time, but there's such a rich symbolic poetry between the trio that any one of them is a good pick
