Lupe’s TA at MIT made an AI voice modulator that Ab-Soul used for the Doeburger verse. He said Lupe pulled up on Doe on Slauson in an SLR and told Doe that he wanted a feature. Didn’t happen before his death, so Ab-Soul used the voice modulator and spit a verse from Doe’s perspective

he has to realize that the mainstream trap banger lane is something he will never be able to excel in

Give doechii a verse on that one song, maybe take the 1 minute skit off the song with the vince feature, get a sza feature or something, keep working with spitters like JID that alr have buzz,
dominate what ur good at that mad people make money off of which is being a versatile spitter that appeals to the more artsy crowd bro wow people by honing in on the things people like about you and knowing the lane you excel in

Soulo suffers from going too far left sometimes yea but if thats the case you can do that in a more acessible manner consistently, if u wanna make banger songs too sure but someone like JID can do that without sounding like hes reaching for an old traditional goal. Like you can do that without also going so far off in the other direction it sounds like ur reaching

and like u can make a song like that while also rapping really well look at that one song scatter brain by conway s*** did really well

all of JID and J. Cole and westside gunn biggest songs or w/e werent unfaithful to what people like about them they were just really catchy and exceptional and snappy. You can do that without making these days 2

it’s the boxed in thinking that to make an accessible song it has to sound like a youtube trap beat from 2016. griselda does the same thing every time they try that s*** and it just sounds so tired
