Idk what it is about JID but when he first came out I was really on board but his verses don’t be doing anything for me now & it’s been that way for a hot minute

Like he is stellar as a technical rapper & he says some unique s*** from time to time but nothing he does really move me

i think after the forever story he's just been in feature mode since. it's hard to make a connection when you are on others peoples s*** besides just saying that feature was hard. he needs to drop another album stat so he can show his true artistry.
