ChartMasters uses a system called CSPC which actually measures the Popularity of an artist by combining Pure Sales, Streams, and other forms of music consumption.

The figures are given in EAS (equivalent album sales)

That’s really the biggest takeaway from this.

Worldwide as well, Adele is undefeated. The only person who got close to having as big a first week for album sales in a single country this century is Hikaru Utada in 2001.
