NEW SAMPHA??

Was gonna make a thread for this last week but decided not to

i would do horrible things for a new sampha album

actress a legend of the 2010s starting of the 2020s with the correct mood

been bumping walking flames for awhile, hyped to check these others out!

Intriguing, at the very least. I’ve never heard of Actress before, but these three tracks feel very Radiohead like. It’s all very stream-of-consciousness in its vocals, very hazy.

I think my favourite of the three is “VVY”, which is interesting because it’s the most glitchy and vocal-absent of the three, and I only came in here wanting to hear Sampha’s actual vocals.

Some of his recent stuff was a bit too avant garde for me but this is somewhat listenable thankfully
