i hear her Amy coming out on Cry Your Heart Out. i hear more '50s-'60s doo-wop than i do reggae like people are pointing out but it's a nice catchy tune
i wish she only kept the effects on the opening chorus and sang it fully on the other hooks tho
OKAY she getting sexy on Oh My God
Greg Kurstin is all over that hook lol
this has been a really fun listen so far tbh, a lot of variety
i probably won't play Can I Get It much on its own but man this production
max martin literally CAN'T miss
All Night Parking >>>>>>
man this some Amy x Jill Scott type s***. Greg Kurstin really laced the s*** outta this album too
"it's so hard to digest, usually I'm best alone
but every time that you text
i want to get on the next flight home
and dream next to you all night long"
Woman Like Me is amazing. Adele is SLIDING. Inflo gave it just the right amount of instrumentation. they got one
she channeled Lauryn on this one don't @ me
Hold On will probably reveal itself as a real powerful song but it's not hitting right now. she gave too many jams before it for me to appreciate it right now
Love is a Game saved the end of the album for me, I couldn't really get into Hold On and To Be Loved on first listen. she sounds incredible on this record.
i kinda love how she went about the background vocals all over the album too. it may not be her most well written, but this is definitely the album that shows her personality the most.
thanks Adele
they did kind of botch the ending of Love is a Game with that fade out...why?
