Probably gonna be carried by hype and gimmicks again. It’s the main reason she lost weight so that there can be a talking point besides her mid ass music

19 and 21 were good and then 25 broke records off hype alone. 25 was trash and had no lasting singles, no impact, no great songs. She fell off.

I will pray to god that she can restore the feeling but I’m not expecting much

People like you really just go out of your way to say anyone you don’t like is only successful because of “gimmicks” now.

Adele literally just shows up and sings and has the biggest album rollouts of all time.

    Put down the crack rock.

Adele / ABBA have an old audience and will probably sell alot of physical and digitals. they also have more money than young people and alot of spending power.

Also sidenote her last album sold 3.4 million in 7 days

This is actually a big part of it.

A lot of the older generation will still go to their nearest Wal-Mart/Target/etc. and pick up a physical copy of anything Adele drops (which counts for a lot more then streaming does) and the fact that she usually drops nears Christmas means younger people will go out and buy a copy for the older people in their life for the holidays.

She’s got the most successful formula out of anyone in her generation. Blue Magic in the flesh.

People acting like Drake sales are gonna beat Adele sales worldwide.

Drake is big but dude has no presence in Asia or South America (remember Drake’s one single appearance in Brazil that was a catastrophe and made clear that people only occasionally hear his pop singles on the radio occasionally there?)

Adele moves weight everywhere in the world. Grandmas in Korea gonna be bumping this new album.

And like I’ve been saying, it’s strictly off the coattails of 21

I’ve been following her since 19 and trust me, 21 was not sole spectacular rollout that went diamond in a week. It took time

25 on the other hand was a garbage album that only saw success because 21 was so good. Idk if people learned or not that they shouldn’t get their hopes up just cus she made 21
