eh I dont think the divorce thing will have any real impact. she could release at any time without any rollout and still sell. the real question is how much pure sales have declined since 2015 because that is the vast majority of her sales

yeah even Taylor isn't doing even close to those type of numbers, I think it's mainly that she appeals to every demographic on the planet by making music that is safe enough for everyone to listen to, she also makes sure to keep to herself unless she's releasing music, making her a figure not steeped at all in controversy

also and most importantly she has a base of core listeners that mainly consume music through buying physicals
