You took his word as gospel while he was suffering from psychosis?

I trust Kanye with all my life, so I believe him.

Imagine trusting a man who made a song called "D'evils"

    Potentially

Did Biggie have decent business acumen?

Everything was business for Biggie, dude probably didn’t even take a s*** without getting paid tbh

Biggie discovered Lil Kim and Cam'ron, and was one of Jay Zs biggest co-signs prior to blowing up.

I think people gas how much Biggie wrote for Kim but he did help her develop her style and aesthetic. Kim used to rap and dress in a more street and gangsta style before fw Big.

He also was smart enough to make sure Lil Kim and Junior Mafia didnt sign to Diddy but signed a deal separate from the Bad Boy situation. Thats amazing hindsight considering the many Bad Boy artists that went broke or like the Lox, went on record saying that Diddy didnt pay him or credit them for songs they wrote for him.

Biggie would definitely be looked at in a similar light to Jay Z had he lived.

With the confidence of your description of him, I’d wager Jay-Z is a lesser Biggie than the other way around

I definitely believe that Big, with the same access to producers that Jay had, couldve made better albums than Jay with the same production.

Id even say that Biggie clearly had just as good of a eye for talent as Jay as well.

Jay, DMX and Ja Rule all benefitted greatly from Biggie and Pac dying. None of them were major like that until those deaths and shortly after that they all ascended to the top of the rap game at the same exact time. Too coincidental to not be true imo.

Imagine Kanye coming up off of Biggie instead of with Jay. 🤔

Tbh Biggie was very opinionated about who he thought was good or bad at rapping. Based on who he cosigned he mightve not fw Kanye Rapping but I feel like he either wouldve wrote for him like he did for Diddy in particular or he wouldve definitely fw Ye as a producer.

  • If Tupac was still alive, he'd prolly refuse to adapt to trap but Biggie would have no problems
