I’m highly sure KTT has a lot of talented film makers on here thats moving forward in the career field so any advice?

I was planning on writing as much as possible this year as far as scripts go (both short and feature) and then also directing/shooting 2-3 short films. Basically build up a respectable resume.

Any advice what steps from there? Look into agency representation? Contest? Film festivals? Black list?

i'm not a filmmaker but if i had to give you a tip it would be to not focus so much on finishing 2-3 short films etc and just latch on to that one creative spark/idea that you're passionate about!

Rather have 1 great project that is true to you than multiple just to cross that off your to-do list

It’s not necessarily to have it to “cross it off my list” but more so for 1. To have a resume for networking purposes, I’d imagine people would ask “can I see some of your work?” And 2. To get my feet wet when it comes to directing and shooting films

I already have experience shooting s*** and have pretty decent equipment. Just ready to take it to the next level and make this a career

Yeah maybe i could have worded it better but i just mean don't make a X amount of projects a priority. If you want to show off your resume it's still better to have 1 great passion project than a few mid things you did just because you wanted some sort of reference
