good album. prolly his worst im not sure. ive played it to death its really good

he basically made it a all arounder album which i didnt really want. i did want a variety to an extent but i feel like he spread himself too thin across the project. he overthinked it and its ambition hurts it a bit imo.

as in, i think he compromised the focus and unique vision of th ealbum which couldve made it a more effective unique experience for versatility and making a more "this is me doing EVERYTHING" album for bumping songs and mainstream. i moreso wanted an album that locked in whats unique about this era, i wanted it to into a pit and be his darkest most minimal album. thats why id rather just not have a song like rather lie or we got all da vibes on here aside from the fact they feel like sidequests carti is reaching for when i listen to this lol.

sequencing is kinda f***ed pop out is clearly meant to transition into evilj0rdan like its literally the correct transition, and i wish crush started the album it makes no sense where its at. OYMPIAN should be like the 2nd last song and munyun should be in the last quarter too. i still wish we got an opium song i have no idea why he didnt put ken or lone anywhere on here ken wouldve MURDERED some of these songs and it would be an easy classic.

i do wish some leaks made it mainly 555, menage, justin bieber maybe, he made ts in a cave dawg i wanted it to feel like that. no idea why FOMDJ wasnt on the standard edition. best song of this era i always skip wake up filthy, skepta's toxic verse, we need all the vibes. didnt like kendrick on good credit he was good on the other two tho mojo jojo felt incomplete without him. most of it is still great just great music i wish i was outside in the west when it released, crazy energy

i agree just because this album doesnt have the same strong identity of those albums. those albums dedicated to a sound and r their whole own worlds and aesthetics, this one took so long that it just didnt achieve that, or he didnt want it to. which might be the case considering the title lol.
