yah the whole atmosphere of it is teenage boy mouth breathers obsessed with mu-core and never leaving that box besides a few token artist fantano said it was cool to like, just like Rodger ebert did to film criticism before him, fantano ruined music criticism

theres some cute people on there who's opinions i enjoy and find good music from but besides that i keep to myself, none of the s*** i like fits into the mold and i dont wanna be near those mouth breathers

it's good for discovering new music especially when you sort the charts by genre though. for example like I can sort the charts by best french pop of the 90s and discover tonnes of new stuff

actually taking the scores seriously though

and yeah putting an arbitrary number by the art you consume is strange and often misses the point of art but it's a good way of cataloging what you listen to

Yea theres plenty of great users on the site with crraaxzyy eclectic lists. Even read some decent reviews on there rarely. Its really unfortunate that it isnt the norm though. The site has a lot of potential.

The main chart is so trash. Im a radiohead stan but like all their discog in the top ten lmfao. That tells you alot about the site
