SHAQUILLEStreaming era is more legit. More total listeners, easier and cheaper to listen to whatever you want. That’s a better representation of what’s being played than radio and traditional record sales
i agree that its more accurate but the older songs didn't have that advantage

No but op is talking success not quality which is half of the main reason MBDTF is remembered so well and why op's comparison falls apart under scrutiny. Popularity isn't why MBDTF is as iconic as it is or why NWTS is also remembered for. Those 2 were genre shifting albums for Hip-hop while After Hours hasn't impacted much
