So many Aftermath artists I thought were going to blow up like Em and 50 that turned into absolutely nothing
Bishop Lamont

Slim Da Mobster

For me personally this was the peak of rap blogs as well. Scowering the internet for new music. All the detox leaks thinking it was coming out soon

There are so many like Shaunta, Brooklyn, Joe Beast, Stat Quo to a degree...
And most of them have an album worth of music leaked and a lot of it is actually dope
Bishop was one of my favorite rappers back then. He had some fire mixtapes but when he finally released The Reformation on an indie label I didn't care anymore tbh
f***ing jon connor
at one point I genuinely humbly believe I was doing more for his promo than aftermath
Stat Quo should've been a star
at least he gave us the young goat, Lil Xan
Slim da mobster got into some beef with 50 and I remember Bishop Lamont being hyped up crazy but then not much came from it he was super nice though
Despite all the failed acts, Aftermath is still the goat label at the end of the day when you consider how many multi platinum artists they created or worked with.
Dre, Em, 50 + G-Unit+ Game, Busta, D12, Obie Trice, etc.
RIP Earl Hayes

Lmao
I feel like I can start naming obscure comicbook character names and nobody would know the difference
still can't believe Slim The Monster got a giant ass Aftermath tattoo
Vic Mensa vibes
that one rapper who was all over 2001 and then no one heard from him again
