Drove 2 hours after work to LA with a friend and we were stuck right outside the coliseum for 2 and a half hours traffic was so bad Kanye performance starts and we're still stuck in traffic my friend turns to me and says he's about to have a mental breakdown we finally find parking and run 2 blocks to the coliseum and as we're running we hear I Wonder in the distance as we're entering the stadium we hear the find your love beat playing and then realize it's Kanye singing

incredibly masterminded troll by drake. he fans the flames of this beef for years and exploits kanyes insecurities over drake being a better artist than he is (it doesn't matter what you think, kanye believes it to be true)

keep in mind this is also when versuz was at it's peak. everyone was talking about a kanye drake versuz when this beef was ongoing

drake agrees to do this concert and tells kanye that he will pick his setlist. he laces kanye with a greatest hits and has him perform classic after classic.

kanye thinks this is it. he's doing a versuz against drake while disguising it as a charitable concert. the people will decide the winner and kanye won't lose with all the classics on his side. he will finally get that validation he's been searching for. drake isn't better than him.

then boom, drake doesn't even try. just plays bullshit from CLB that nobody cares about. didn't get a single classic off on that stage.

kanye is distraught, he won, but at what cost? his opponent let him win. this was even worse than losing. this is the catalyst for the biggest shambles of his career.
