oh
yeah that's annoying on ios would be nice i assumed i had to keep copy and pasting the version i have in notes like i have to do with mj lol
What's the seed do
smh why cant i recreate this im using the same s***

you using the same seed?
the seed is the base the ai uses to build your image
you can type in any number between 1-4290000000 (goes higher but i tend to stick these numbers)
then if you get something you like but want minor adjustments you use the same seed just make the change in the prompt
without typing a seed you get a random one every time making it hard to know what the words are changing
the AI takes the seeds which is noise/static and it makes the image you want
if use the same seed and a similar prompt you’ll get similar results
Where do I start reading on how to learn about the seed?
github.com/midjourney/docs/blob/main/FAQs.md#seeds
results are more consistent in stable diffusion with my testing but same idea

@Semiredacted yes the seeds are the same in every stable diffusion
and no there isn’t a way to find what seed you used in your post if you let it pick at random, that would actually be a nice feature to have @s if it’s possible
