yeah even on albums like Rodeo and Owl Pharaoh the appeal was never really that he was a lyrical rapper. he just had an interesting sound. even on his most "lyrical" tracks its not like he's saying a lot, he's just using words and flows that make you Feel like he's saying something important.

This is a really good song but lyrically he's Pretty much just vaguely telling us where he's from and that he used to be slept on before he got famous.
