It's because of his actions and exaggerations the way he talks is he makes it seem like he is having full hour convos when in actuality he just gets fed bits here and there. I watched his stream in August and they were asking for updates and he kept alluding to drake dropping a september album (with no backing) and didn't even know Drake was dropping a song on the 14th until Drake dropped the teaser at midnight.
Do I think Akademiks gets exclusive info? f*** no.
Does he talk to Drake? Yes but not on the level he makes it out to be

Yeah I definitely think Drake just DMs him things like “soon 👀” and he runs with it, but I also think sometimes he tells him things. He obviously told him the pushback announcement was imminent.

I think Ak needs to make things clearer between when he just guessing / getting info from someone that’s not Drake and when he’s actually speaking to Drake.

Yes exactly he puts his credibility on the line too much and in the video one of his fans shared he was bragging about giving Drake feedback on his album songs (Drake isn't listening to Ak for that anyway) but didn't know that Lucky Lefty was meant for the album and has been leaked for months going on a year.

All this really comes down to is that people hate Ak and think he’s a cornball, while Drake is the biggest hip hop artist and people think he’s cool.

In their heads they can’t imagine a “loser” like Akademiks having inside info and talking to Drake and 40. It’s that high school “he can’t sit at the cool kids table” mentality some of these kids have and it’s not based in reality.

Akademiks has been having occasional direct convos with Drake and 40 for at least 4 years now, these are confirmed. He may exaggerate or misinterpret some things, but he absolutely has convos with them. Anyone who says otherwise is just being stupid at this point because they (rightfully) dislike Ak.

One day, people are going to realize that Akademiks, whether we like it or not, has decent pull in this landscape.
