I know Drake cares about sales and perception.

I just don't think him and his team and his label, think that he's more potent than a global pandemic + high unemployment + colleges/gyms/clubs not being open + civil unrest combined.

There's no reason why he shouldn't just the silver bullet until the right time.

I'm hoping he's not gearing up to put out the album rn.

I don’t get the impression that he’s pushing anything back more than he already has, bc hypothetically speaking if no Corona and the socio-political climate was different I think the album rollout would be in full motion right now (singles, etc). Khaled song too.
But I do think something like a statement track addressing said climate before his album rollout would work in his favor (assuming it’s coming soon). And whatever that is AK teased, if legit, seems more like that than it does anything related to an album. At least I would hope so. Seems the smartest thing to do.
Also, I would personally wait til things open back up before I released an album but I’m not Drake. It’s a weird time rn.

I'm trying to see if Drake sent AK the image also.

If so, I would assume like you have that it's a political track. Which would be awesome and welcomed. 12AM in 2020 lmao.

But if Drake only said "Soon" and didn't send Ak the cover, that's what has me writing that comment.

? If KTT notices these things then it’s not far fetched that a good portion of Ak following notices the drake content as well (AK is popular, regardless If you want him to be or not) . I don’t see how slowly building excitement is a bad thing

Also why are some of y’all mad and always questioning s*** when it comes to Drake and Ak? Him and Drake have a relationship whether you like it or not and Ak be knowing s*** that we don’t know, it is what it is

When it comes to Drake and dropping music, he doesn’t just tease or lie for “clout”, it’s because he asks if he could talk about and checks with Drake or his team
Every time he talked about Drake in everyday struggle during the scorpion era and afterward, he would always be like “this is what 40/Drake would allow me to say, but I can’t say anything else”

Ak is problematic and controversial when it comes to a lot of things, but he isn’t wrong when it comes to Drake and his music
Yea he jokes around about the OVO camp and other s*** when it comes to Drake, but at the end of the day it’s a meme whether you like it or not and he’s not like that anymore after it’s not a secret that he’s a huge Drake stan
