Yeah, that's why y'all have made 20 threads about him saying the album is dropping at so and so date and NONE of them have even remotely turned out to be true

It's kind of an interesting dynamic though - telling Ak something would be a really smart way to get a general idea out to the public without Drake himself actually be accountable for it... Like let's say Drake really did tell Ak that the reason for not dropping was an inability to perform rollout related activities (music videos, etc.) while being injured and that he wasn't going to wait long before dropping - and was likely to drop in the next few months. Drake himself hasn't promised to drop before April, so if it doesn't happen who looks bad? Only Ak. We yell at Ak for lying but Drake isn't going to be held accountable at all. And that lines up with Ak's claim that supposedly Drake might still drop in February, but doesn't want to promise another month because then he'll be pressured to finish everything and be 'on the hook' for it again if it doesn't and be blamed for another delay.

A really clever way to keep people hopeful and get out the idea that it's coming soon without actually himself promising the people another specific timeline that he might not meet.

Drake was on ig live saying he got love for Ak, and Ak has given accurate info before so it would be pretty stupid for him to just make up stuff repeatedly knowing he’s got that connection
